Just in time for Mother's Day, Sandra Morgan Interiors and SM HOME, the design firm's retail shop in Greenwich, will be hosting a special Trunk Show of vintage and antique purses. On Friday, May7th and Saturday, May 8th, the fabulous collection gathered by Nula Thanhauser, of New York and Bridgehampton, will be featured at this popular local shop. These artful fashion statements in American design include examples from the Victorian, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco periods, as well as antique Asian textile and Lucite purses of the 1940's and 1950"s.

The collection ranges from silk brocades, petit point, and rhinestones, to Lucite, leather and faux tortoiseshell. Designs by Chanel, Lanvin, and Judith Lieber are among the stunning assortment.

Custom work is also available, using vintage and antique frames and your own textiles. These frames range in date from 1880-1920, and often feature precious metal and gem stones.

This is truly an exceptional collection of one-of-a-kind purses to be treasured for years to come. You are invited to stop in and say hello to Nula and her daughter, Kaitlin, who will have over 100 purses for you to choose from in the intimate setting of SM HOME, located at 70 Arch Street, Greenwich.
