Sandra has been involved in interior design for over twenty years. Her interest was first sparked by a summer position at Scalamandre Silks main showroom in New York while still in college. She graduated from Connecticut College cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. Joining Conde Nast Publications, she worked on the editorial decorating staffs of House and Garden and Mademoiselle. At Mademoiselle, as Associate Fabric Editor, Sandra created the monthly column "Chez Mlle", devoted to stylish decorating for young women on-the-go. After leaving the magazine world to marry and start a family, she established an art consulting business and an art gallery of her own. She personally arranged several private exhibits of painting, sculpture and antique American quilts in her family home; the largest converted barn in Greenwich. It was here that she also collaborated with the David Findlay Gallery of New York City to install an extensive show of contemporary French paintings.

Later, she turned her interest in furniture and the fine arts towards establishing Morgan & Company, Ltd., a decorating resource featuring an art gallery, antique English pine furniture, fine reproductions, lamps, linens, porcelains and unique accessories. This venture occupied her for 10 years, during which she developed a growing interior design clientele. Her in depth knowledge of art, antiques and collectibles has enabled her to offer her clients an educated eye when making investments in these areas.

Recently, the firm acquired additional space above their design offices for an art gallery and intimate decorator showhouse. Integrating original art at home is a priority for the firm and a signature element of Sandra’s work. Her versatility and vast experience allow her to work on all types and sizes of projects, whether traditional or contemporary.

Sandra is a professional member of ASID, the American Society of Interior Designers.
